Honey Sriracha Turkey Meatballs
20 mins prepServes 4
A spicy and flavorful meatball recipe featuring ground chicken or turkey, glazed with a homemade honey sriracha sauce. Perfect for spice lovers and great for meal prepping.
Heat a large pan to medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add celery, onion and peppers. Cook about 5 minutes to soften. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add the parsley, chili flakes, ground chicken or Turkey panko salt and pepper to a bowl. Hand mix until everything is combined. Form the meat mixture into meatballs. You should get about 12-15 depending on the size of your meatballs. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Heat the pan again to medium heat and add remaining olive oil. Brown the meatballs 3-4 minutes, rolling them a bit to brown all of the sides. Make the sauce by adding the sriracha, honey, garlic powder, and chili flakes to a small pot. Heat gently, stirring, until it is well combined. Pour the honey-sriracha sauce / glaze over the meatballs and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is nice and thick. Sprinkle with chili flakes and fresh parsley and enjoy!
