Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup coconut oil, and 3/4 cup brown or coconut sugar. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla extract and 2 eggs, mixing until incorporated.

Mix in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt. Add 3 cups almond flour, 1 cup at a time, mix well after each cup. Fold in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. I used @lilys_sweets dark chocolate chips. 

If you’re patient enough, allow dough to chill in the fridge for 30 mins-1 hr before baking. Form the dough into tablespoon rounds and place on the lined baking sheet about 3 inches apart. Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown around edges. Cool and enjoy! ❤️
