Recipes from childhood that I now make for my kids ♥️ Rice pudding is always a hit and so easy to make. I love this recipe because you don’t need any corn starch. Just patience and lots of stirring to avoid the milk from burning. To make, all you need is: 1 cup short grain rice 1 cup sugar 8 cups whole milk Any flavoring you like such a cardamom, orange blossom water, or cinnamon (You can definitely do half this quantity for a smaller serving size like I did) To a large pot add the rice milk and sugar. On high heat stir until the milk starts to boil. This is one of those recipes you really need to stay close to the stove to avoid burning. Once the milk boils reduce the heat to low and continue to stir. Keep stirring until everything starts to thicken. This can take up to 20 minutes so just be patient. Once it’s gotten to your desired level of thickness and the rice is cooked through, remove from the heat and allow to cool. We like it cold but you can always enjoy warm ♥️ I hope you try and enjoy! #arabrecipes #ramadanrecipes #ricepudding #fyp
