It’s grill season and I couldn’t be happier! Making my bun-less lamb burgers for today’s family BBQ. This recipe is so delicious and a nice change from the typical beef burger. Try this one out next time you’re in the mood of a good lamb burger.
Take 2 lbs of organic grass fed ground lamb and add 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 chopped red onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 green pepper chopped, 1 teaspoon dried mint, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/4 cup pine nuts, and salt and pepper to a bowl. Mix everything together and form into 8 patties.
Preheat a grill to med-high heat. Grill burgers approximately 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked to your preference.
Transfer burgers to a serving platter and cover with foil to keep warm. Serve in between iceberg lettuce and your favorite burger toppings. Enjoy!
